The trails may be the same, but aboard Rocky Mountain's Slayer 30 the ride never will be. Built from Rocky's FORM aluminum around their Straight Up geometry, this all-mountain beast will get you to the top of the hill and then absolutely blast back down with 165mm of SmoothLink suspension. Sure it pedals exceptionally well but this bike's true love is gravity and its parts spec conveys that message clearly. A burly 160mm Marzocchi 55 R fork smooths the terrain, the Alex wheels are held on with through-axles, a 2x9 SRAM/Shimano drivetrain with FSA cranks sports a bash guard, and Avid brakes with huge 200mm rotors scrub speed to keep you on track. Plus, the fat Maxxis rubber holds your line and the Easton bits are light but always tough.
