The 5010 pushes the limits of 27.5-inch wheels, which is a very good thing coming from the mountain bike masters at Santa Cruz. An aluminum frame is the heart and features VPP suspension with a Fox Float CTD providing 125mm of cush to tackle the steeps, the drops, the bumps, and the curves. A low bottom bracket, short chainstays, 142mm rear axle, and angular contact bearings for lateral stiffness translate into a snappy, corner slashing ride. Following that well-crafted theme, a SRAM X01 11-speed drivetrain gives you an incredibly wide range of gears with incredible chain management, while XT brakes modulate with seemingly endless power. It all rolls smoothly on WTB Frequency Team rims laced to DT 350 hubs and is absolutely ready to shred with an Easton Havoc bar and Reverb Stealth dropper pose.
