Overview

About this bike

Specialized's Demo 8 II is built to dismantle the world's toughest and gnarliest downhill courses. Its legendary FSR suspension is ready to smooth any trail in a low-center-of-gravity package that's confident soaring through the air and skimming across techy singletrack. No matter how gnar-filled the trail is, RockShox' Boxxer World Cup fork and Fox's DHX RC4 rear shock are standouts on the race circuit because they offer sick amounts of travel as well as adjustments to cushion even the biggest, fastest hits. And, Avid's Code hydraulic discs and fat Specialized tires bite hard and stop quick, while the burly DT Swiss wheels take all the huge air and harsh landings that you can dish out. Plus, this monster is spec'd with a quick-shifting SRAM X.O/X-9 drivetrain with a Gamut chainguide.
