You ready to take your riding to the next level? XC racing, weekend epics, 24-hour marathons - whatever your style, Yeti's AS-R 5 is the machine to get it done. It's light enough to beat your buddies to the top, then it just rips the downhill. The AS-R 5 sports a stout aluminum frame with a tapered head tube and a 142x12mm rear end so when you stuff it in a corner or hit a steep climb, you feel the frame react. It's also stiffer in the mid stroke of its travel, so it feels responsive and snappy on the trail. The geometry is perfect and balanced with a 67-degree head angle, a low BB and 140/127mm of Fox-controlled front and rear travel. This rig is finished with a SRAM X7/X9 30-speed drivetrain, DT Swiss tubeless wheels and Avid brakes. XC or all-mountain? On the AS-R 5, it doesn't matter.
