About this bike
In the world of XC riding and racing, weight, speed and control are everything. Yeti's AS-R starts with a formed aluminum front triangle and mates it to a stiff carbon rear end pivoting on custom sealed bearings. That package clocks in at a featherweight 4.8 pounds for a 100mm-travel frame that just rips. Continuously modified by Yeti's racing team, the AS-R tracks like a laser, has amazing stand-over clearance goes up hill just as as fast as it descends. To perfectly balance the front end, Yeti gives you a 100mm-travel Fox RLC fork to steer you singletrack bliss. The rest of the spec is full zoot too, with a Chris King headset, full XTR group with tubeless wheels and a Thomson stem and post with an Easton Bar.
