Built for pure speed, Yeti's AS-R Carbon is the perfect tool for every trail and race course. It boasts a carbon frame that weighs a scant 4.25 pounds, which doesn't seem crazy light until you factor in the integrated seat mast and aluminum seat clamp. The AS-R also throws down 100mm of efficient, trail-shredding travel delivered by Fox's RP23 shock in back and Fox's bump-busting F100 RLC fork up front. This cross-country leader rolls on a set of Shimano's tubeless XTR wheels and Shimano also handles the shifting and braking with their legendary XTR 27-speed group. Plus you get a bombproof Chris King headset and a spread of aluminum components from Easton and Thomson to help you tame any course or trail.
