Overview

About this bike

You supply the guts, Giant supplies the Glory. Their Glory Advanced 27.5 1 has a crazy-light, super-stiff Advanced-grade composite front triangle, ALUXX SL aluminum rear swingarm, and 8-inches of terrain-crushing Maestro suspension to get you down the mountain faster than ever. Even the ugliest drops and chunkiest rock sections will feel like they're pulling punches with the 200mm trail-chewing travel of the RockShox Boxxer RC fork and the Vivid R2C coil shock damping the blows. Aggressive, World Cup-proven long and low geometry ekes out top speeds on even the most demanding downhill courses, allowing you to devour the most insane tracks. As the tapered Overdrive head tube steers you through your line with pinpoint precision, the durable, fast-spinning 27.5-inch Giant wheels with Schwalbe rubber may convince you they're magnetically drawn to the base of the mountain. Before you get there, though, a few sharp pedal strokes might be required, so a SRAM 1x10 DH-specific drivetrain with a TruVativ Descendent crank delivers. MRP's G3 chainguide keeps your chain locked down, while the SRAM X7 shifter dictates appropriately stepped gear changes to the X9 derailleur. In the moment between pulling the brake levers and the solid SRAM Guide R discs throwing down heaps of power at the bottom of the lift, you'll have just enough time to glance back up the mountain and think about your next run.
