Born to surpass the demands of the world’s top XC athletes, the Fourstroke 01 delivers the ultimate performance on the most demanding courses. A purpose-designed race machine, every element of its structure is crafted to optimize speed, save seconds, and keep riders ahead of the pack. BMC's all-new Race Application Dropper Seatpost (RAD) ensures that its fast and smooth adjustments maximize power and control whatever the gradient, allowing you to ride more dynamically. The revised Big Wheel Concept Race (BWC) geometry has evolved to embody the progressive riding style our athletes display on technical World Cup tracks. The Fourstroke 01 shifts the paradigm. Reel in the competition on the climbs, drop them on the descents. Every second matters. The Fourstroke 01 THREE is specced with a suite of performance components that make it a race-ready machine. Building upon the full carbon foundation is a Fox Float suspension with 100mm of XC trail-taming travel and remote lockouts. The fork and rear dropouts utilize boost spacing for increased stiffness and a stronger, more durable wheelset. The wheels themselves are DT Swiss' excellent M1700 Spline and come wrapped in Vittoria Barzo tires — a great option for XC courses. A wide-range 12-speed cassette in the form of SRAM GX Eagle increases this bike's capability and results in reduced weight and fewer moving parts. Whether it's lining up at the race start, or simply crushing your local trails, this bike is ready for it all.
