About this bike
The Fourstroke is one of the very few full-suspension mountain bikes to win the Cross-Country World Championships. That alone sets it apart as an outstanding race bike. The combination of BMC's Big Wheel Concept (BWC) geometry and Advanced Pivot System (APS) suspension design makes for an incredibly fast and capable XC or Marathon race bike. If there is one category the Fourstroke belongs to, it is quite simply racing. The Fourstroke 01 TWO is built on BMC's premium carbon frame incorporating a long top tube, slack head tube angle, and a wide bar paired with short stem and chainstays - the perfect recipe for making big wheels roll fast and turn easily. The always-reliable Shimano XT 11-speed drivetrain keeps shifting crisp, while the 100mm-travel Fox Float fork and shock make short work of technical terrain. Durable 29-inch DT Swiss wheels and Vittoria tires provide grip and quick acceleration. BMC's carbon bar and seat post minimize weight and keep your fit dialed.
