Trek's carbon Session 9.9 DH 27.5's sole focus is World Cup downhill domination. Period. This sleek gravity sled gets it done with 210mm of rear travel whiling weighing in around 35 pounds. Trek achieved a massive stiffness-to-weight ratio through the use of advanced carbon lay-ups and trussing. That formidable stiffness is enhanced by their 12x157 rear through-axle, carbon EVO link, and of course, the Full Floater linkage and ABP rear end. For the fork, Trek and Fox created a proprietary air/coil hybrid 40 that's highly adjustable so you can tune it to your style or the course. Out back, the VAN RC4 coil absorbs hits of all sizes. With race-dialed components like Saint gearing and brakes along with custom DT Swiss wheels wrapped in Bonty Team tires, its focus on the hot seat is crystal clear.
